Most owners choose to have their yacht stored ashore for the winter months to reduce wear and save on maintenance. Tradewinds Yachts can offer storage under cover and outside on hard standing for winter storage or for repair or maintenance during the summer months.
Tradewind Yachts can take care of your maintenance and repair requirements or, with mutual agreement, these can be taken care of by yourself. In our cosy on-site English pub you can relax after a hard days work and exchange your experiences with other owners. If you decide to let the yard take care of your maintenance requirements there is the possibility of a discounted rate on your storage fees.
Our 18th century barn houses our showroom, offices and work shop. Opposite is our 7000 m² hard standing area and two modern boat storage sheds. Our under cover storage capacity is approximately 2300 m².
Our yard is within walking distance of the harbour of Walsoorden and all lifting gear and slipway transport and rolling stock is certificated and operated by qualified personnel. We take utmost care when handling and storing your yacht be that in our covered sheds or outside on the hard standing. At your request we can remove mast and rigging, store your sails, interior items and prepare machinery for winter storage.
